The gentle, kind, loving, musical spirit of Helen George will be remembered in Sault Ste. Marie, where she lived her 89 years lighting up the lives of all who knew her. Wife of the late Philip George, and predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Davey. Mother of Margaret Tennant and Anne Davey (Larry Gillis) and predeceased by her son Paul Davey. Stepmother of Ron George (Tammy), Bob George and Nancy Gregory. Daughter of the late Lloyd and Margaret Jenkins. Sister of Bob Jenkins (Kay), Dorothy Murphy (late Terry), late Rita Rochon (late Come). Sister-in-law to Bea Gent (late Duncan Gent and late Harry Elkin). Grandmother of Emily Tennant, Sadie Tennant, John Corboy (Nora Pine) and Molly D’Agostini (Jake). Great Grandmother to Riley, Logan, Adele and Reese. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 9 am until 10:30 am. Funeral service in the chapel at 11 am. Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
