On Wednesday September 14, 2016 at approximately 5:30 pm a private citizen called the City Police to report a white truck driving in an erratic manner which eventually went into the ditch on Queen Street East near Lorna Drive.
Upon arrival Police located a lone male near the vehicle who was identified as the driver. As a result of further investigation, Police arrested 34 year old Mika Tuomi of River Road for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Mr. Tuomi later was charged with failing to provide a breath sample to a qualified technician. Mr. Tuomi will appear in court for these offences on the 23rd October 2016.
