First Day for Grade 9s at White Pines!

Grade 11 and 12 Link Crew Leaders and staff (in the tye-die shirts) welcomed Grade 9 students to White Pines this morning with music and fan fare!

Student Link Crew Leaders were trained over the summer to take on a mentor role for an assigned group of Grade 9 students.  Link Crew Leaders will ensure the Grade 9s feel welcome on the first day and throughout the year.  Tours of the school took place today and other activities are planned throughout the year.

Everyone was taking part and having a great time during the ice-breaker activities at White Pines today.
