The numbers have been tallied so far and it looks impressive.
The Annual Terry Fox run was held this past Sunday at Bondar Pavilion. The Terry Fox organizing committee reports that almost $32,000 was collected on run day and that number will likely climb with more donations from online and school events. The annual run takes place each September in the Sault and thousands of other locations in Canada and around the world to raise money for cancer research.
The Pancake Breakfast by Santini’s Bistro by donation raised almost $1,000!
Silent Auction raised over $2,000 with donations from local merchants. Sault Ste Marie is so generous! A huge heart felt thank you to all participants, donors, sponsors and volunteers for an excellent job done!
