Rain, heavy at times, is expected today as a moisture laden disturbance moves through. Latest indications suggest rainfall amounts near 50 mm are quite likely over locales such as Sault Ste Marie, Ranger Lake and Foleyet. A thunderstorm or two may result in locally higher amounts.
Lesser amounts of rain are expected in areas further to the southeast, such as St. Joseph, Elliot Lake and Gogama.
