Sault Youth Soccer Club had 5 teams entered into the Autumn Classic soccer tournament this past weekend hosted in Traverse City, Michigan. The U10 girls advanced to the finals and won 4-1 vs the Cadillac Crush.

The U11 girls had two team entered into this group, each of them winning their perspective divisions. Parents and players of these teams agreed that it was ok not to play each other in the finals as we represent one club, one team!
The tournament coordinators were ok with it.

The U12 girls won a wildcard birth into the finals, where they beat the Michigan Jaguars 2-0.

The U13 girls lead their division going undefeated into the final. After a 0-0 half time score, the girls came to life, scoring 4 unanswered goals and taking home the gold.
This was the first time since the development program was created,(5 years ago) that all Sault teams won their respective age groups.

Manager and one of the coaches, of the program, Carmine Coccimiglio, commends all volunteer coaches on an excellent job. It was an excellent finish to our summer training program, which will continues this fall starting in November.

Other Coaches were Joe Valente, Peter Berlingieri, Anthony Romano, Carlo Spadafora, Marcel Giordano, Leni Mazzuca, Joe Carbone and Steve Mazzuca.
