Canada Black takes Czechs; Canada White tries to Fight past USA


Canada White’s two penalties with less than two minutes to go probably cost them the game tonight as they lost 3-2 to Team USA.

Team USA out-shot Team Canada White 25-18.

They were 3 for 9 on the power play as Canada gave up three times as many penalties.

Jacob Semik opened the scoring for Team USA assisted by Jake Wise and Joel Farabee.

In the second they went up ahead another goal by Blade Jenkins assisted by Bode Wilde and Jacob Semik.

Trisen Nielson answered with a goal, who was so important to yesterday’s game with a hat trick.

Elijah Brown, assisted by Jett Woo and Liam Foudy tied the game at 2.

But it would be Joel Farabee, assisted by Bode Wilde and Ty Emberson that would give the US the lead with 5 minutes to go.

Today’s Earlier Game:

Jan Dluhos made the first mark in the Canada Black/Czech game assisted by Tomas Koblizek. This came after a ten minute misconduct to Jakub Lauko.

Canada Black answered with three goals by Chase Wouters, Eric Florchuk and Allan McShane with assists to Ty Smith, Own Lalonde, Chase Wouters, Nolan Foote and Aidan Dudas.

The second period opened with a Czech goal by Tomas Dajcar at 5:25. That would be it for the second.

The third would see the teams trading goals with Canada Black coming out victorious. Two by Ondrej Pavel with two assists to Tomas Kablizek and one to Matej Pekar.

Scoring for Canada Black were Allan McShane, assisted by Declan Chisholm and Aidan Dudas and the second goal by Luke Burzan assisted by Eli Zummack and Tyler Popwich.
