Collision at Pine and McNabb leads to impaired charge

On October 30, 2016 City Police responded to a traffic accident at the corner of Pine Street and McNabb Street. No one was injured in the accident.

Police investigation revealed that one of the drivers had been drinking and was given a road side alert test. It is alleged that he failed the test and was brought to the City Police Service building and given a breath test.

It is alleged that the male failed the test. The accused stands charged with having care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired and having care and control of a motor vehicle with more than 80 of alcohol in his blood. The accused Paul Deschene age 48 is scheduled to appear in court on December 5, 2016 at 9:00 am.
