Colin Miller made the first splash of the NHL season for Saultites last night.
He got his first point in the form of an assist against New Jersey for Boston’s win.
Miller made this splash ahead of the other Sault players in the NHL, Chris Thorburn, Blake Speers and Jordan Nolan.
Miller’s assist was on Brad Marchand’s goal to tie the game at 9:47 in the third period.
It will be interesting to see what the other Saultites in the NHL will do this season as it has only begun.
Matthew O’Connor has yet to start with Ottawa in goal. He continues in the AHL.
