Do you pee when you cough or sneeze? Are you pregnant or a new mom? Is sex painful for you? If so, come out to “Vino and Vaginas”, a fun and educational ladies night out!
Back by popular demand, this is the second Vino and Vaginas event sponsored by the Group Health Centre Physiotherapy Department. It will take place at Grand Gardens North in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on Thursday, October 20. Doors open at 6:00 pm.
The evening will feature wine, appetizers and guest speakers. Three GHC Floor Therapists and a Pre- and Post-natal Exercise Specialist will speak about urinary incontinence, maintaining a healthy pelvic floor and pelvic pain.
Urinary incontinence is not a normal part of aging or normal after childbirth, however, 1 in 4 Canadian women experience urinary incontinence. 10% of women have painful sex and 8% of females under 40 have chronic pelvic pain. At Vino and Vaginas, ladies will learn how to deal with these problems, and have lots of laughs along the way!
Tickets are $25 each, and include appetizers and your first glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage. Tickets went quickly last time, so get yours soon at the Group Health Centre Physiotherapy Department on 240 McNabb Street or at Fit Bodies, Fit Minds on 491 Queen Street East.
