Close Call on Bay Street


No one was seriously hurt Saturday afternoon following a two vehicle collision on Bay Street. One person was taken to Sault Area Hospital for unknown injuries when a vehicle lost control at the intersection of Bay and Elgin . No other information is available

  1. Lucky no pedestrians were hit. I got snarled on Bay in traffic after this crash, and I couldn’t believe the broken glass and metal strewn across Bay St….traffic could have easily been diverted down St. Mary’s Drive but the police did not block the road (altho they easily could have) and let a TON of people just drive on through, over all the broken bits. So if you drove thru before you realized there was a huge debris field, and u have a flat tire today, you know why.
