On Saturday morning, the Soo Thunderbirds took part in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Rake-A-Thon by helping rake the yards of a few homes on the east end of the Soo.

The T-Birds, who are currently the top team in the NOJHL’s West Division, racked up a total of 184 bags of leaves and raised $670.00 for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

“It was a great day today for a great cause participating in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Rake-A-Thon,” said T-Birds head coach and general manager Jordan Smith. “The players enjoyed themselves and the Thunderbirds look forward to working with Big Brothers Big Sisters again in the near future.”
