Two arrested for Mac’s robbery


On November 16, 2016 City Police responded to a robbery at an east end convenience store. Investigation revealed that two males entered the store and demanded money and lottery tickets.

The clerk gave them a quantity of currency and the two fled. The two were later identified and arrested.

The first accused, age 28 was arrested for robbery. The second accused, age 18 was arrested for robbery and a further check revealed that there were outstanding warrants for failing to attend court and theft under $5,000.

Both accused persons are scheduled to appear in bail court on November 17, 2016 at 10:00 am.
