The Sault Ste. Marie Down Syndrome Society is celebrating Canadian Down Syndrome Week November 1-7th. During this time, we are distributing our 2017 calendar. It’s free to anyone that wishes to receive a copy.
Our theme this year is “We are EXTRAordinary Characters.” It was designed and photographed by local photographer, Emila Junor of Emilya Junor Photography. Emilya said, “Being able to meet such amazing families and work with such fun people was a great experience”
Throughout the calendar we expose myths and answer truths about what Down syndrome is and isn’t about.
First time being featured in our calendar is a new comer to the Sault, Ashley. This friendly and beautiful five year old was thrilled to see her picture in the calendar and was happy to show it to her family.
