Winter Weather Travel Advisory in effect for today and tonight. Bands of lake effect snow could affect road conditions and visibilities.
Bands of lake effect snow off of Lake Superior will affect the regions today and tonight. This could have an impact on travel, due to snow accumulating on roads and reduced visibilities in snow and blowing snow.
Accumulating snow could make travel difficult in some locations. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
Local snowfall amounts up to about 10 cm are possible before the bands shift out of the regions around midnight.
