Passed away peacefully at Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) with his family by his side, on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, in his 62nd year after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

He is survived by his wife and soul mate Elizabeth (Siegwart). Always remembered dearly by Donna Robson. Son of the late Antoni and Maria Uchmanowicz.

Loving father of Julie Robertson (Steve Skagen), Antoni (Katrina), Andrew, Aaron (Jamie), and Alyssa (Christian) Uchmanowicz, and stepdad to Liza Chikoski and Sherry Belleau (Darwin). Proud Grampa of Brittany Skagen, Gavin and Kinley Uchmanowicz, and Lindsay and Emily Belleau.

He is survived by his loving brothers John (Judy-Ann), Karol (Valerie), and dear sister Wanda (Rino Marquis). Much loved brother in law of Eric & Cathy Siegwart of Rockport, ON, Don Siegwart (Diane), Marilyn Siegwart (Steve Rainone), Bob Siegwart (Carol), Ruth Larue (John) of Marathon, ON, Pat Siegwart (Clorie), Dave Siegwart (Rachel) or Azilda, ON, the Robson family, Paul (Sandra), John (Dawn), Dave, Rick (Shelley) Robson of Southern Ontario, and Debbie Langille and their mother Mary Robson.

Much loved uncle of Tammy Ryan (Sean), Anthony Uchmanowicz (Jennifer), Maria Marquis (Gerald “G-Joe”), Erika Uchmanowicz, Marcy Clark (Mitchell), Greg Nicholson (Terry), Marco (Samantha), Jammie Pedalino, and Theresa Czop. Great uncle of Katie, Sarah, Rylee, Michael, Aidan, Isabella, Matthew, Charlotte, and Declan.

Survived by many nieces and nephews in the Siegwart and Robson families.

The family would like to thank Dr.’s Spadafora, Wilson, and the caregivers at the Sault Area Hospital Community Cancer Clinic. We would like to thank the team at ARCH for their compassionate care of Tony and our family throughout this journey.

Memorial contributions to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
