Auditions start tomorrow for new Musical Comedy Production

Musical Comedy Guild is proud to announce it will be staging The Andrews Brothers, a dinner theatre musical, April 12-15, 2017 at the Quattro Hotel and Conference Centre.

A USO performance from the Andrews Sisters is in jeopardy of cancellation when they fail to appear shortly before curtain. Thankfully three earnest stagehands are determined to go on with the show!

Directed by Lucas Beaver (Why Do Fools Fall In Love?) and music direction by Rusty McCarthy, The Andrews Brothers is filled to the brim with over 25 songs made famous by the Andrews Sisters, including the showstoppers: “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “Slow Boat to China,” “Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree,” and “Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive.”

Mistaken identities and madcap adventures along with the music of an entire generation highlight this wonderful valentine to the heroes of World War II from Roger Bean, the creator of The Marvelous Wonderettes and Why Do Fools Fall In Love?

Auditions for the cast of four (1 female and 3 males) will take place January 19 and 20. Please check for time, location and other audition details.

Reserved seating tickets for dinner and the show go on sale Tuesday, January 31 at the Community Theatre Centre Box Office in the Station Mall starting at 10:45 am. Seats can be reserved individually, as a couple or as a table (eight to ten).
