On the 23rd of January 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 43 year old Poppy Haynes of Sackville Road in relation to a theft from December of 2016.
On December 8th, 2016 at approximately 3:30 p.m. the accused attended a store on Queen Street East. It is alleged that while she was at the store she selected merchandise and left the store without paying.
Officers identified the accused from video footage and on January 23rd, 2017 the accused attended the police station and was arrested. She has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and will appear in court on February 27th, 2017.
