Premier Kathleen Wynne met with Sault Ste. Marie Mayor Christian Provenzano Thursday as she tours Northern Ontario.
Following the closed door meeting the Premier took questions from media and the on the topic of calling the by-election, the Liberal leader isn’t quite ready to call the by-election for the Sault to replace former Liberal MPP David Orazietti.
“We will have a good candidate and it’s important to keep our relationship with Sault Ste. Marie” Wynne told reporters at the Civic Centre. Both the NDP and PC parties have their candidates ready when the by-election is called. The Local Liberal association has yet to announce their candidate.
