Tire recycling plant’s contract has run out

Because the pilot project permit has run out for a local tire recycling plant, and permits to run permanently have not yet been attained, Environmental Waste International was asking for help from city council tonight.

The tire recycling plant asked council to speak to the province on its behalf which was approved by council.

The reason, because we are currently without a provincial member of parliament.

The law cannot allow for a renewal of a pilot project permit.

The technology is said to work well and they want to be able to run it a day at a time to entertain possible sales of the technology to other countries.
