What to expect at the 1st annual “Highland Ford CAN/AM Cup”


On February 4-5, 2017, Northern Superior Brewing Co., Sovereign Communications, Northshore Sports, & Rivercity Motorsports will be Presenting the 1st annual “Highland Ford CAN/AM Cup” National Snowcross races at the The YARD in Sault Ste Marie. THE YARD is located at 75 Huron Street, Sault Ste. Marie, ON – located next to the Machine Shop – home of the Bon Soo Winter Carnival Feb. 3-12.

This year’s event is a (2) day race featuring (28) racing classes each day. Hundreds of snowmobile racers from Canada, the USA, and Europe will participate as they race for CSRA Canadian National Championship points. The races will also feature a Snow Bike racing class.
The feature races include Sport 600, Pro-Lite, Pro Open Racing and Snow Bikes both days. Amateur and Kids Races start on Saturday at 12:00 noon and on Sunday at 9:00AM.

Saturday, the “Pro Main Events” Pro-Lite, Sport 600, Pro Open and Snow Bikes start at 7:00PM under the lights. Sunday, the “Pro Main Events” Pro-Lite, Sport 600, Pro Open and Snow Bikes start at 2:00PM and will finish between 4:00-5:00PM.

For the kids, we have a Free!! Yamaha “Learn & Ride” program with qualified instructors that will teach junior to ride a 120cc Mini Yamaha Snowmobile. Kids Yamaha rides start at 1:00PM – 4:00PM each day. Also includes Race Posters and Race Program magazines.

ADMISSION for Adult & Youth 12+ is $25/Day or $40 for the Weekend, ADMISSION for Seniors & Kids 6-11 is $15/day. Tickets can be pre-purchased at The TECH, Rivercity Motorsports, Highland Ford, or Northern Superior Brewing Company.
