On February 21st, 2017 offices with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 23 year old Melinda Robinson of Royal York Boulevard in relation to an assault.
It is alleged that on February 18th, 2017 the accused engaged in an argument with a female known to her. The argument escalated and the two began physically fighting. The accused is alleged to have stabbed the victim in the head with a pair of scissors during the physical altercation causing a non-life threatening injury.
The accused was arrested by police on February 21st, 2017 and charged with one count of assault with a weapon, one count of assault causing bodily harm and one count of breach of probation. She was held for bail court.
