The public has another opportunity to take part in the three-day celebration. On Thursday, March 2, citizens are invited to attend a festivals and events marketplace at the Machine Shop from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. With free appetizers and desserts being served, attendees will have an opportunity to learn from and meet with festivals and events leaders from across the province. Registration is not required. The marketplace is being sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Sault Ste. Marie.
Tourism Sault Ste. Marie, which works to attract events and visitors to the community, partnered with Tourism Northern Ontario and Festivals & Events Ontario to host the 2017 conference. The forum is taking place March 1 to 3. Quattro Hotel & Conference Centre is the main venue. For more information, visit www.feo2017.com.
