∼1925 – 2017∼ Betty Clargo was in her 92nd year when she passed away peacefully at The Willowgrove Long Term Care Residence on Friday March 3, 2017 after a brief illness.
Betty was born in Sault Ste. Marie, the youngest daughter in a family of 14 children. Predeceased by sisters Winnifred Van Daele, Vina Haggarty, Eva Haggarty, Gertrude Wright, Dorothy Tonon, Alice Van Daele, and brothers William, Roy, Wesley, Percy (Pat), Leslie, John Bernice (Bernie) and Robert (Bud) Clargo.
Survived by a large family of four generations of nieces and nephews and their descendants. Betty was the loving nanny to her nieces Gloria and Judy for five years before she joined The Royal Canadian Air Force in 1954.
She served in both Canada and Germany and was able to pursue her interests in travel and photography throughout her career. She retired in 1976 and moved to Cambridge where she resided until 2016 when she moved to Ancaster.

Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Betty’s wishes, no service will take place.
