The City of Sault Ste. Marie continues to investigate and take corrective action relating to the latest carbon monoxide incident on March 19, 2017 at the W.J. McMeeken Centre on Goulais Avenue.
Modifications and replacement on equipment relating to heating and venting have been recommended by the third party experts, which will not be completed until early next week. The facility therefore will remain closed until further notice.
Regular updates on this incident will be provided as information becomes available and a full report will be issued once the third party investigation is complete and all action items identified and rectified.
