Truck slams into house on St. George’s Ave


 A truck crashed into a home on St. George’s ave. Saturday morning, resulting in charges, injuries and damages.

The crash happened at around 3am Saturday morning when the truck, eastbound on St. George’s lost control and rolled over before slamming into the front of the house.

Three people were in the vehicle at the time, with one person receiving injuries but was not taken to hospital.  Damage to the house was centered around the front door area.

Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has charged two of the other occupants in the vehicle.

Kyle Morley of Third Line W., was charged with impaired care and control of a motor vehicle and having a blood -alcohol level of more than 80 milligrams.

Margaret Coutts, of Chapple Street, was charged with two counts breach of recognizance.

Meanwhile a second accident on St. George’s ave occurred Saturday afternoon.

A two vehicle collision resulted in moderate damage to both vehicles. No other information was available.  This collision occurred at the top of the hill at the bend into McNabb and  Algoma Ave.




  1. Take their license away and they drive without one the only way to keep them off the road is to lock them up in the crowbar hotel and not just a slap on the wrist two month sentence so typical of judges around these parts. It seems the more crimes committed the more lenient the sentence. Go figure.
