Residents are reminded of the following seasonal schedules for the City Landfill, Household Hazardous Waste Depot, and Leaf and Yard Waste Collection in 2017.
City Landfill
• Open April 1 to October 28, 2017 – Monday to Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Household Hazardous Waste Depot
• Open April 4 to October 28, 2017 – Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Leaf and Yard Waste Collection
• Collection begins April 18 to June 30, 2017 and resumes October 2 to November 24, 2017. There is no collection during the months of July, August, and September.

But the leaves stay on the trees July, August and September…So where’s the mess?
With no Leaf and grass etc pickup for July august and September come October will make it even worst for City workers. There are residents who don’t drive or operate motor vehicles to leaf collections etc to Lemieux composting. So come October ya gonna see a big and bigger mess.
