After the final 2 matches in qualifying, Lone Wolf posted a loss in their opening match but followed this up with a strong win to end the qualifying rounds in 10th place, with a 7-3 record over 3 heated days of competition.
During the tense Playoff draft, the second-seeded team, from Wisconsin, selected Lone Wolf as their first playoff alliance partner, and Lone Wolf accepted the invitation. In the second round of the draft, they chose a New Jersey team to be their third Alliance partners and will meet the 7th seed Alliance, consisting of teams from Singapore, Georgia, and California.
Playoffs will commence after the team lunch breaks, and will consist of a best-of-3 format with Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals and Finals to determine the division winners who will then advance to the overall World Championship Finals later this afternoon.
In the meantime, as the remaining teams added new Skills Challenge efforts to the overall Skills rankings, Lone Wolf, who finished their final attempts two yesterday, were bumped farther down and finished the Skills event with a final ranking of 33rd overall out of 246 teams who attempted this separate challenge.
