Each year, Lowe’s employees team up to provide hundreds of hours of support to local communities as part of the Lowe’s Canada Heroes program. The program encourages employees to work together, adopt a volunteer project with a local nonprofit organization or public school, to help make a meaningful difference in the communities in which we operate. The Lowe’s Canada Heroes program will take place in all 55 Lowe’s stores in Canada

St. Vincent’s Place and Sault Ste. Marie Lowe’s employees celebrated the kick-off of their fundraising goal of $5000 as part of the Lowe’s Canada Heroes program that started April 17th.

The fundraising campaign runs until May 14th where customers can donate $2.00 toward the Lowe’s Heroes program to support the St. Vincent’s Place Betterment Reno. Lowe’s Canada will match 50 per cent of all funds raised through the in-store campaign up to a maximum of $2,000 per store.

St. Vincent’s Place is in need of a bathroom renovation as well as a storage unit on their premises and Lowe’s Canada Heroes will volunteer their time and skills to help complete their project by August 1, 2017.
