Lake Superior State University students (l-r) Michaela Titus, Nikayla Kirkwood, Alex Czarnecki run through a dress rehearsal on April 2 for LSSU’s final theater production of the 2016-17 academic year. SNAPSHOTS: Images and Stories About Important, Fantastic, and Other Things – an original work produced by the students – is at 7 p.m., April 6-8, in the Black Box Theatre of the Arts Center.

The venue’s seating – limited to no more than 45 – is first come, first served. The work offers solo and group performances of poetry, short stories and monologues by classic and contemporary writers. Some selections contain strong language and adult situations intended for a mature audience.

Admission is by donation of a non-perishable food item to Seamores’ Food Pantry for LSSU students. Titus is a political science major from Imlay City, Mich.; Kirkwood, from Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., studies elementary education with a history minor; and Czarnecki is a biology major from Bay City, Mich.
