From Debbie on Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to you and your family.

I come from a long line of Sault women. My grandmother and my mother raised their families here and I followed in their footsteps, raising my family here as well.

This mother’s day, I’m away from my children and grandchildren and I wish that weren’t the case. Like many young Saultites, my kids had to leave the Sault to find the right jobs for them.

But it shouldn’t be this way. We’re seeing too many of our young community members leave and we need to change that. We need someone to advocate for us at Queen’s Park, someone with a seat at the table and not a seat on the sidelines.

No matter which way you vote on June 1st, it will still be a Liberal majority government on June 2nd. I want us to be a part of that majority so that we have the ability to make big changes fast – like bringing and keeping good jobs in the Sault.

So if you’re lucky enough to have your kids by your side today, I hope they spoil you and tell you how much you’re appreciated because you deserve it.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Debbie

  1. Yes she should pack it in. If she is so sure she is on the right track …let the voters decide. I would like to see the other 2 parties get up in the house and ask her to resign and call an election NOW. But then again…the NDP wold likely support the Liberals once again. I could never vote for a Liberal candidate since by running they are showing they support what Wynne has been doing. Has Ms Amoroso really thought this through?

  2. She could kiss any number of things but it wouldn’t make a damn bit of difference, the fiberals have showed beyond a doubt that they are not responsible enough to run this country.
Wynne should step down, NOW, and check herself into the funny farm.
No one in their right mind could have done what she has.
