The Sault Ste. Marie & 49th Field Regiment R.C.A. Historical Society, operating as the Sault Ste. Marie Museum, is a registered charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors is a diverse group of community leaders and key decision-makers who shape our strategic vision, ensure that funding and donor support is used effectively, monitor overall organizational performance and help us achieve positive outcomes for our members and our community.

The Board of Directors, in company with our Director/Curator, are soon to embark upon a bold, dynamic and exciting journey of rediscovery by restructuring our organizational operations to ensure a more modernized focus on education, interactive experience and enhanced benefit to our community residents and visitors alike. We will be introducing new programs and services reliant upon new technologies and methods of delivery.

The Sault Ste. Marie Museum is inviting individuals to apply to serve on the Board of Directors for a three-year term. We have need for individuals with experience in a wide variety of disciplines including marketing, public relations, finance, fundraising and legal.
