Once upon a time young people who had their driver’s license and perhaps the use of the family car or even better, your own car would spend Friday and Saturday nights “cruising Queen” It was the “cool thing” to do in the 50’s , 60’s and 70’s. After cruising, many would park in the Sault Memorial Gardens parking lot and just watch the cars go by. It was a simpler time.
That’s the premise behind the Queen Street Cruise. The second annual event kicked off Friday night with a parade of cars down Queen, live entertainment and shows and just some cool times! The two day event continues Saturday. Check back to SaultOnline.com for more coverage this weekend.
