The Huron-Superior Catholic District School (HSCDSB) is putting a hold on a project to expand St. Francis French Immersion.
Work on the one million dollar project, which was scheduled to begin in July, has been delayed until further notice.
“We realize the St. Francis school community was excited about this project and apologize for the delay. The Board will keep the community informed of next steps,” said HSCDSB Director of Education, John Stadnyk.
The St. Francis project involved expanding the school gymnasium, installing an elevator and modifications to the entrance area of the school which incorporates administration offices and the staff lunchroom.
