On June 29th, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 21 year old male for possession of a controlled substance and warrants for Domestic Violence related offences.
On June 29th, the accused was located by police and placed into custody as he was wanted for failing to attend court in relation to a domestic violence incident. Once he was in custody, officers located a small amount of a substance believed to be cocaine as well as 11.7 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine.
The accused was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and one count of failure to attend court. He was held for bail court.
