It’s a party that took 150 years in the making, someone should have notified Mother Nature. With rain in the Nation’s capital and cool grey conditions here in Sault Ste. Marie, the normal warm sunny days associated with our nation’s birthday was well missed. The less than ideal weather didn’t stop thousands locally in taking part in a number of events to celebrate our country’s 150th birthday.
From the paddlers at the Sault Canal, the Hub Trail Festival and of course the city held party at Bondar Pavilion , the pride of being Canadian was out in full force.
