On July 15th, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 55 year old male in relation to a domestic violence incident.
On July 15th, the accused engaged in a verbal argument with his girlfriend. The argument escalated and the accused is alleged to have thrown a pot of water striking the wall and causing damage. The accused then took $200.00 from the victim’s purse and left the area.
The accused was later located by police and arrested. He was charged with one count of mischief under $5,000, one count of theft under $5,000 and 3 count of breach of recognizance.
He was held for bail court.
