On Camera: Theft from Sears


Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a theft.

On Thursday, June 16th 2017 an unknown male entered the Sears store located in the Station Mall and selected 3 pairs of track pants before exiting the store without paying for the items.

Video surveillance showed the male wearing a black ball cap with New York Yankees logo on the front, a black and grey jacket, and black pants. The suspect left the property on a bicycle.

  1. Aren’t they closing anyway…He is just helping clear the overpriced shelves! We thought we would check it out the other day. Wife wanted something specific…It was 28 bucks at sears…Walked down to walmart and same thing was under 8 bucks…No mystery why he couldnt afford to buy the pants!
