The ONtour concert series stop in The Sault was held at Roberta Bondar Pavilion on Sunday, July 16th. A strong attendance of appreciative fans from all ages rocked and rolled – grooved and danced to some high octane music.
The ONtour Concert Series showcases some of Ontario’s brightest and incredibly diverse musical talent.
The line-up of musicians in Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday evening included The Tea Party, USS (Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker) and Andrew Hyatt.
‘As part of a year-long line-up of events marking Ontario’s 150th anniversary celebrations, Ontario’s free ONtour concert series provides the soundtrack for the Summer of 2017, stopping in more than 20 communities across Ontario and showcasing some of the province’s brightest homegrown musical talent. All of the ONtour concerts are free and open to music-lovers of all ages and there are no tickets required.
The Roberta Bondar Pavilion was sure filled with the sounds of summer on Sunday evening and there is little doubt that all of the musicians were appreciated by the substantial crowd.
The ONtour Concert Series continues through to mid September with stops right across the province, including several stops in northern Ontario. August 9th – Thunder Bay; August 10th – Kenora; August 19th – Sudbury; August 26th – Timmins. The schedule wraps up September 17th in Petawawa.
Sault Ste. Marie was the fourth stop for the concert series.
