SaultOnline follower Virve Manniste sent in these photos of a tree which was uprooted and fell across Florwin Drive just grazing a small car. The Sault Ste. Marie area is currently under a Severe Thunderstorm warning due to a cluster of storm cells moving across the border from Michigan.
That was a wicked wind! I was walking and a large tree started shedding huge branches from really high up all around me, big enough to do serious damage, it was like the tornado scene in Wizard of Oz! I ran. lol.
