UPDATE: Blind Dog Goes Missing – Have You Seen Taz?

A SaultOnline.com viewer requests the public’s help in finding their blind dog.  Here’s a note from the owner.

We have been out all night and have had no luck finding TAZ:( Please if you see him DO NOT CHASE. He is friendly but seems to be in survival mode and is quite scared . It does not matter what time he is spotted please call the owner day or night immediately and she will go to the sighting. Thank you everyone for all your help today, it is always heartwarming to see so many people come together to help bring a lost pet home safely.

This poor dog is missing, he is blind in both eyes and we need the communities help locating him. WE NEED SIGHTINGS.

He has been spotted at St Pius X School, then by prime cuts on Wilson St (by St Georges), Then he was going down Northern Ave, cutting in through yards and bushes towards Bruce St.

He could be travelling down the hill or circling the area. He is Blind, friendly but might be scared and hard to catch.

PLEASE SHARE- We need another sighting asap. If anyone can go out and search.. follow the post below and call the owner Ruth Ralph Fleming @ 705 975 0664 IMMEDIATELY

If you do go out searching please ensure you take this number with you, bring strong smelling food!!!!

If you cannot catch the dog, please try and keep an eye on him while you call the owner, it is more likely he will go to her. .

Lets all help get this baby home safe & sound.


  1. Thank you Craig for posting this!!! As you can see Taz is now home safe and sound… it’s amazing, in one day he traveled from Eagle Drive, down northern ave, across second line, down st georges or bruce to queen st, all the way down to at least Bellevue Park and he ended up on Goulais Ave & Third Line… That’s insane!!!!
