“At Lowe’s, we take great pride in improving the communities we serve. We work hard to be a good neighbor and we’re committed to supporting efforts that enrich the lives of our neighbors and customers. Two years ago, the opening of the new Sault Ste. Marie Lowe’s store represented an approximate local investment in excess of $15 million and created 120 jobs, with an additional 30-40 seasonal positions.” said Craig Pennycook, Store Manager

Each year, Lowe’s employees team up to provide hundreds of hours of support to local communities as part of the Lowe’s Canada Heroes program. The program encourages employees to work together, adopt a volunteer project with a local nonprofit organization or public school, to help make a meaningful difference in the communities in which we operate. The Lowe’s Canada Heroes program takes place in all 57 Lowe’s stores in Canada. For more information please visit www.lowes.ca/heroes.
