On Camera: Theft from Staples


Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are asking your assistance in identifying a suspect in a theft.

On August 16, 2017 at approximately 9:00 a.m. a male entered Staples located at 345 Great Northern Road.

The unidentified male proceeded to the isle where laptops were on display.

The suspect was able to disable the security lock on a Macbook Pro valued at over $2000.00. He concealed the laptop under his sweater and left the store.

The suspect is described as a 30’s male wearing a grey ball cap, sweater, and baggy black shorts.
