Spreading the warmth – that’s the goal of the 23rd annual CTV Coats for Kids Campaign with the help of community supporters, volunteers and individuals from Community Living Algoma.
An annual sponsored program for the past 22 years. Coats for Kids provides infants, children, teens as well as adults with gently used winter jackets, snowsuits, boots and other suitable winter wear. The program began when it became clear that children of all ages were struggling through cold northern winters without the proper clothing to keep them warm and dry.
The following community supporters are currently collecting gently used winter jackets, snowsuits, boots and outerwear until Friday, October 27, 2017.
Drop off locations are as follows:
Fountain Tire
Algoma Financial Group
Skeggs, Paciocco Law Firm
Floreani O’Toole Orthodontists
Jon’s Medicine Shoppe
Great Lakes Honda
Coats for Kids distribution will be held at Community Living Algoma at 105 White Oak Drive East on Saturday, November 4 from 10 am to 1 pm.
