2017-18 Commemorative Remembrance Day Jerseys – Auction/Game Day

On November 11th, we observe Remembrance Day to pay tribute to the men and women of uniform who have lost their lives while fighting for our country, our freedom.

It also provides all Canadians the opportunity to pay their respect to those that have and those who continue to serve for all of us.

Leading into that day’s events, the Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club is pleased to hold their annual Remembrance Day game on Sunday, November 5th (7:07 PM) when they host the North Bay Battalion.

As part of the festivities, the Greyhounds will once again be wearing commemorative jerseys for this event.

These jerseys will be auctioned off (via blind auction) to raise funds for the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 and the Sault Ste. Marie Military Family Support Group.

Fans can bid on a jersey(s) two ways:

1- ONLINE Auction Form below
Online auction is open NOW and runs through to Friday, November 3rd @ 5 p.m.

2- Game Days (on the Essar Centre concourse @ Section 117)
In-person bids can take place at the Greyhounds’ first three home games in the month of November;
• Wednesday, November 1 vs Sudbury
• Saturday, November 4 vs Niagara
• Sunday, November 5 vs North Bay

Final in-person bids will close at the end of the 1st Intermission on Sunday, November 5th.

In addition, select complimentary tickets will be available for active soldiers and veterans at the SK Group Box Office located in the Essar Centre from now until Sunday November 5 (game time).

One complimentary ticket will be available per soldier or veteran, with the following ID’s being required at the time of transaction:
• Royal Canadian Legion Membership Card
• CFOne Card
• K Card
• Military ID Card

Tickets for family and friends of veterans and active military members will be available at a discounted group rate.

We kindly ask that attending veterans and soldiers come in uniform.
