Do you know a local innovator, project, or organization that deserves to be recognized for their exceptional work? Nominate them for a SSMARt Innovation Award – nominations are open until October 17th at noon!
The 12th Annual SSMARt Innovation Awards hosted by the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre honours companies and influential individuals for their innovative contributions to the science, technology and/or agriculture sectors of the Algoma District, and for their use of science and technology in innovative ways, making a positive economic, cultural, or social impact on the community.
Access links to online nomination forms and category details at www.ssmic.com/awards, as well as a list of 2016 winners. You may submit more than one nomination, and self nominations are permitted.
Winners will be announced at the awards luncheon on Wednesday, November 15th at Grand Gardens Downtown Sault Ste. Marie from 11:30am – 1:30pm (doors open @ 11:00am). Tickets include a plated lunch, coffee/tea, presentation of awards, acknowledgement of sponsors, and guest speakers.
Tickets are $25 each. We strongly encourage guests to purchase tickets at Scotiabank locations in the Station Mall or on Northern Ave., as Scotiabank will be matching dollar for dollar all tickets purchased in person!
