On Camera: Break and Enter To Savoy’s Jewellers


Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are asking your assistance in identifying two suspects in a break and enter.

On the 9th of September 2017 at around 5:40 am a male and female walked up to the front of Savoy’s Jewellers located 290 Queen Street East.

The male used a hammer to smash the display window gaining entry and proceeded to take items.

An unidentified female was with the unknown male suspect when the window was being smashed.

The male suspect was wearing a black hoodie with writing on the front.

The female suspect was wearing a black jacket and black pants.

This incident was caught on video surveillance and can be viewed on our Sault Ste Marie and Algoma YouTube page.

  1. Again with the outdated obsolete surveillance cameras they should have had these suspects lit up like daytime. A $100 trail camera works better.
    What are the odds that they will change them now?
