Ross Romano on Thanksgiving

1

Thanksgiving is traditionally a time to celebrate the abundance of nature’s bounty and to give thanks for the blessings we have in our lives.  As we gather with our friends and family to celebrate this day, we should reflect on the things that matter.  It’s important to pause our busy lives and enjoy our time with one another.

We are so fortunate to live in the naturally beautiful North, and should be grateful for all the gifts and opportunity it provides to us. We are thankful for all our family, friends, and neighbours who surround us.  A strong community is one of life’s greatest blessings.  It’s a good time to remember to support others as well.   This time of year finds many local organizations running drives to help families in need.  I hope we can all find time to help by volunteering or donating to one of these groups.

I am thankful for the encouragement and support I have received from this community, and I am grateful to represent you all.  My family and I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.

  1. All peaches and cream for now huh, a little grandstanding and pointing fingers at others.
How about a plan that will actually get you re elected and get rid of the irresponsible liberal ratfinks?
