On November 27rd, 2017 officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s Break and Enter Unit arrested 33 year old Ryan Elliot of Wellington Street East for a break and enter.
It is alleged that on November 23rd, the accused and another male drove to a business in the 900 block of McNabb Street in a stolen motor vehicle. The two males then broke into the compound of that business and took a large amount of copper wire.
Officers located the accused on November 27th and he was placed in custody. He has been charged with;
One count of break and enter
One count of breach of undertaking
One count of breach of probation, and;
One count of occupying a motor vehicle without consent
He was held for bail court.
