UPDATE December 28Â Â –Â Final
The tug boat Dispatch II was successfully refloated today (Dec. 28) and removed from Bellevue Marina in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario.
A Canadian Coast Guard Environmental Response team was present throughout the operation.
There were no signs of pollution from the vessel in the water or along the shoreline.

After refloating the Dispatch II was pumped of pollutants and lifted out of the water by crane.
Case closed for the Canadian Coast Guard.

Tug boat The Dispatch II is now afloat!

Hopefully it won’t sit and rust away like half of the other tugs at Purvis marine are doing.
